Parking Management
Zones
Zones had a major overhaul. Group multiple car parks and sub-car parks, attach tags and active profiles, and enable/disable car parks manually or on a schedule — across on-street, off-street and multi-zone parking, with weekly and yearly scheduling.
The zone list & views
Columns show each zone's Active Now state, Active Profile, Tags, Type, price, capacity and cameras.
- List / Compact — a clean, scannable list
- Normal — adds the time frames for each day of the week
- Map View — all zones plotted on the map
- Third-Party — third-party zones where provided
Each zone can be enabled/disabled manually or on a schedule. The row menu offers view-on-map, duplicate and archive.
Schedules & multi-zones
Drop down a zone to reveal its weekly schedule chart (Sun–Sat) — the profile-backed time blocks, editable any time.
Multi-zone parents contain sub-car parks. Expand to see each sub-zone (e.g. Level 1) with its own profile and schedule.
Editing a zone on the map
Edit directly on the map: Name, Zone Type (on/off-street or multi-zone), Capacity, paid parking, Street & Cross Street, Tags. Resize the boundary with −2 m / +2 m / +10 m, or drag polygon edges to reshape. Step through zones with Prev / Next, then Save.
Advanced settings
- Address — human-readable label for reports
- External ID — maps to an integration provider's zone code
- Sort Order — custom ordering (default alphabetical)
- Zone Thumbnail — auto-generated from the boundary via Mapbox
You can also add fixed cameras and monitor cameras.
Profiles
Under Config → Zones → Profiles — rule packages painted onto zone timelines. Edit a profile and every schedule block referencing it updates at the next capture.
- Settings — Name, Colour, Description, Max stay, Grace, Min sightings to escalate, Direction (vehicle facing)
- Excluded vehicle types — Sedan, Hatchback, Wagon, Ute, Pickup, Truck, Motorcycle, Trailer, Unknown
Overrides
Under Config → Zones → Overrides — date-range exceptions that suspend enforcement on selected zones (or all) during a window: public holidays, planned closures, short-notice events (e.g. Xmas Day).
Tags
Under Config → Zones → Tags — lightweight organisational labels to filter the list, bulk-edit zones, and scope a Permit Category to "any zone tagged X". Tags do not drive enforcement — that's profiles + schedule blocks + active overrides.
Enforcement settings
Under Config → Zones → Settings:
Default grace period — applied to timed and permit violations when no zone override is set; vehicles within it don't produce a Case. Doesn't apply to No Stopping or Wrong Orientation (always zero grace).
Detection confidence — body-type and orientation checks fire only at/above the threshold. Lower catches more but risks false positives; higher is more accurate but may miss violations.
Repeat violation handling — accept at most N of the same violation per plate, per zone, every 24 hours / 7 days / 30 days. Each zone enforces independently.
