Cases
Cases — Inspections
Cases manage the life cycle of a compliance matter (parking or other) across inspections, time frames, escalations, fines and collections. Inspections are the on-the-ground records that feed a case — built from templates, captured with AI plate/vehicle recognition and device GPS.
What inspections are
Typical inspections are vehicle management — abandoned vehicles, illegal camping, general infringements, overstays. Location comes from device GPS and timestamps are automatic, so there's far less to type.
The inspections list
Each inspection has: ID, Subject (vehicle / person / asset / …), Timestamp, Source (web or PatrolLink app), Status (assigned / unassigned), Category, Summary, Location (GPS). Search by ID or plate; view your own or all; map view; sort (oldest, plate A–Z / Z–A); filter by status, date range, category, user and subject.
Creating an inspection
Create Inspection → category → template, then fill in the dashboard or the PatrolLink mobile app: site & context, evidence images (JPEG/PNG/WebP/HEIC up to 20 MB), compliance finding (e.g. Breach), officer observations, outcome (e.g. Escalate) + follow-up date, extra fields and a signature → Submit.
Adding to a case
Open the completed inspection → Add to a case → pick an existing case or create a new one. It then appears under Linked inspections in that case.
