Parking Configuration
Configuration — Zone Configuration
Manage zone categories (profiles), overrides, tags, archived zones and zone settings. Much of this is also reachable from Zones — gathered here for the configuration section.
Profiles
Create a reusable profile (e.g. 2P Timed, Mon–Fri) and apply it across all zones. Set name, colour, description, max stay, grace, min sightings (reduces false positives). Orientation lock requires a facing direction — wrong way fires a Wrong Orientation violation. Restricted vehicle types make a listed type an instant violation in that zone.
Overrides
Date-range exceptions that suspend enforcement on selected/all zones during a window (holidays, closures, events). v1 = suspension only; future: max-stay nudge, profile swap, no-go zone.
Tags
Organisational grouping — filter, bulk-edit, scope permits. Do not drive enforcement. Create with name, colour, description.
Archived zones
Archive zones you no longer use; the archive shows name, type, scheduled blocks, cameras, tags and archived-ago. Unarchive or delete from here.
Zone settings
- Default grace period — across all zones/time frames, applied to overstays.
- Detection confidence — body-type & orientation thresholds; lower catches more (more false positives), higher is more accurate.
- Repeat violation handling — at most N per plate, per zone, every 24h; each zone independent.
