Case Statuses

Statuses and sub-statuses are the stepping stones of the case life cycle — and can drive automations and time-based rules to cut manual work.

Statuses & sub-statuses

Every case gets a status by default. Main statuses: Open, Closed, Enforced, Appealed, Archived. Add sub-statuses under each — e.g. under Appealed, “Coordinator Approval — waiting for sign-off” with a colour and description. Sub-statuses can be global or scoped to a case type (Vehicle Management, Incidents, Inspections & Audits, Complaints).

Automations

A trigger-based automation section can record configured workflow events — such as appeal lodged, action printed or penalty paid — when the organisation has enabled that rule.

Time-based rules

Add time-based rules for defined workflows: when a case is Open and has elapsed N days from creation, a configured status change can apply once the rule is enabled.
