External Actions

Reusable steps that happen outside Aero CORE — referrals, debt collection, court packs — added to a case flow as an External Action step.

What external actions are

Refer matters to government organisations / agencies, generate court packs, etc. Added to a case flow as an External Action step. Bulk integrations exist at most authorities, but external actions get you running without them.

Configuring an action step

• Name (e.g. Refer to State Revenue Escalation Authority)
• Officer instructions — shown on the case when the step is reached
• Block the case until confirmed — on: flow pauses until an officer marks it done; off: records and continues
• Due offset (days) — e.g. 28
• Reference field and Notes field — required or optional
• Smart link (optional) — a fixed HTTPS link to an external tool; no case data is added to the URL
